The Challenge
A boutique hotel in Shanghai's former industrial district was converting a 1920s factory building into a 120-room hotel. The ground floor was designated for a restaurant and cafe. The design challenge: honor the building's industrial heritage while creating a warm, inviting dining experience.
"The building had beautiful exposed brick and original steel beams," the interior designer explained. "We wanted the furniture to feel like it belonged here—not like we'd brought in something from a showroom."
The Solution
AEONTI developed custom iron table legs:
Industrial design: Cross-base design inspired by factory machinery aesthetics
Black powder coat: Durable matte finish complementing the exposed brick and steel
Custom height: Bar-height and standard-height options for different dining areas
Commercial durability: Engineered for daily restaurant use with 100kg load capacity
The 80-table order included a mix of dining tables, bar tables, and cafe tables.

The restaurant and cafe opened to strong reviews:
