The Challenge
A North American coffee chain with over 300 locations was refreshing their brand identity. The new direction was vintage-industrial: exposed brick, reclaimed wood, and authentic cast iron. Their existing tables used standard steel bases that didn't fit the aesthetic.
"We tried every off-the-shelf cast iron base we could find," the brand's design director said. "Nothing looked authentic. Everything felt like a cheap imitation. We needed something that looked like it had been there for 100 years."
The Solution
AEONTI developed a custom solution:
Cast iron material: Authentic cast iron with superior weight and stability
Proprietary antique finish: A multi-step finishing process creating an aged, weathered appearance
Integrated branding: The chain's logo cast directly into the base design
Vibration dampening: Cast iron's natural vibration absorption for wobble-free tables
The development included multiple finish samples to achieve exactly the right patina.

The 200-table pilot was deployed across 10 locations:
